I'm not from the area, but I usually stop by here in the afternoon for a latte and a snack to avoid 495 traffic for an evening meeting in Rockville. The back corner, along with the comfy couches, gives me a homey feel. With my noise-canceling headphones on, I can get into the zone and get some work done. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The decorations are a mixture of different styles put together, but it's comfy, so I like it. I wish there were more selections of snacks and pastries to choose from. I have nothing to complain about the coffee's taste. It's spot on. I notice everyone was given paper cups even for sitting in. Maybe they ran out of actual cups or need to wash them. You'll have to parallel park if you managed to get a good spot. Otherwise, you'll be parking far to walk here. I think the parking lot nearby allows 2 hours max. I haven't been hungry enough to go for the breakfast burritos, so I cannot comment on that yet. I will update my review as I come back more.

I recently visited Coffee Republic ☕️ hoping to enjoy a great cup of coffee, but unfortunately, it didn't quite meet my expectations. Perhaps the beans weren’t the best quality. There were also a lots of bugs outside but it’s not their (coffee place) wrong.

Coffee Republic is a nice spot. I enjoyed their cinnamon toast muffin and a London Fog both were pretty good. The cafe boasts a charming interior and convenient outdoor seating. With a wide selection of bakery treats and an extensive drink menu, it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

The biscuit was kind of dry, but tasty. Aside from that I love their food and drinks. I had ordered a large (or so I thought) instead of small drink. They originally gave me a small. When I told them I had ordered the 24oz, without hesitation they fixed my order. If it was closer to where I lived, I’d go here over any big chain coffee shop (Starbucks or Dunkin). The blue lagoon drink tastes like a blue raspberry jolly rancher in my opinion.☺️
