I had some donatable furniture and other items I needed to have removed and contacted College Hunks, based on a previous experience with them. Our team contacted us 30 minutes before arrival, smiling, eager, professionals that arrived early. We took a walk around the furniture/items locations and they provided an estimate for the removal. Since most of it was good furniture and donatable, we knew it would take some room in their truck. Price agreed upon and they began. My CH Team was very thorough, courteous, and professional throughout the whole process. I would give them 5+ stars!

It was a small job, but very big, heavy equipment, and furniture that I needed them to move. Once again, I was very pleased with the service provided to me. I highly recommend College Hunks!

A++ I have used the hunks several times. Rio helped me multiple times. They are efficient, polite, friendly, funny, and STRONG! Rio, Fred, and Shawn made a great team today. Don’t ever under estimate Fred. I watched him pick my sofa up on his own!! I will definitely use them again. Highly recommend.

This was my first time hiring movers and I definitely regretted it. The two men that showed up to move me (two hours late) started out as unprofessional and unorganized and ended up leaving me feeling unsafe in my home. The two movers were obviously two people who did not enjoy working together and it showed in the three hours they were in my apartment. They mostly argued and criticized each others wrapping and moving strategies, physically hitting each other at one point, and cussing the entire time. They openly complained about being unhappy with their pay and made it clear that "the fancy people in Brentwood could never do our job." I did my best to be hospitable and provided cold water and Gatorade but they instead took multiple canned sodas from my fridge. They asked odd questions like how much my rent was and how old I thought they were. They did not team lift a single heavy piece of furniture, one guy remarking that "damn I lifted that whole couch, did you see it?" They unsafely carried things on their backs (half of a sectional and my mattress) and threw around my furniture and boxes leaving several things broken and my boxes utterly destroyed. The worst part of all of it was the blatant staring and creepy behavior from one of the movers. I didn't notice the staring for the first half of the move or I would have asked them to leave. My male friend that I had thankfully asked to be present during the move tried his best to mitigate the creepy behavior but this guy was persistent. Once the furniture was moved into my new apartment the second mover spent most of his time sitting in one of my chairs leaving behind sweat stains while he leered at me bent over unloading boxes. When my friend tried to put boxes in the chairs so he wouldn't have anywhere to sit and stare he moved the boxes to the floor and said "you don't mind if I take a break do you?" It ended with them being unhappy with the cash tip that I provided and openly mocking me in the hallway outside my apartment before they even got outside. I felt so shaken and upset by this experience I didn't sleep in my new apartment for the first two days out of fear that one of them would come back. I could not recommend this company less. I was naive and believed that the few bad reviews were people catching them on bad days. I responded to the survey on move in day noting my concerns and no one from College Hunks has reached out at all in the last 3 days. Update as of 8/5: I have left reviews on multiple platforms of which a response was all made sure to be made publicly but no resolution has been reached yet between myself and College Hunks almost 2 weeks out from my move. I received a call from a manager who told me he would speak to other managers to see what that resolution would be... After I reached out two days later, they told me they had a "long talk" with the two employees involved in my experience. I've asked for a partial refund for my move and have not heard back from anyone in the last four days.
