Our server Trinity was exceptional in steering us toward the specialties in which we were interested. Her table-side performance of creating the 105 salad gave us the background in its creation. And her suggestion of the crab cakes? So happy to have done so! The food came out quickly and was way too much to eat so we have lots of leftovers. Plus the bread? Warm and light and fresh!

If you ever find yourself in Tampa, specifically the Sparkman Wharf area you MUST stop by this place. And if your really lucky you'll get Angelina as your server. She is professional, friendly and one of the best servers I've ever had. Also met the Manager Brian - also professional, knowledgeable and will sit and chat about all the restaurants in this group. Very very good experience. And if you want a great meal at an even better price get the Half Cuban Sandwich with the 1905 salad. THE BEST!!

Get the salad! The café is nice and we'll located. The hostess find a seat for me at the bar. The server was really nice. The salad is amazing! I went there to have the salad that everyone raves about and they are right. Yo be honest, I chicken out when reading the menu and thought the salad was not going to be enough and ask for half a Cuban and half a salad. I was wrong, if you go have the salad. The sandwich is not bad, but the salad is something special.

I had high hopes and was met with disappointment. I’ve eaten several Columbia cuban sandwiches at the grab and go station in the Tampa airport so I was extremely excited to actually sit down and eat at the restaurant and enjoy a hot freshly made sandwich. The front service was unhelpful, we were not greeted and had to ask to be seated even tho we were seen waiting and it was not busy. We ordered the famous Cuban sandwich, but it was extremely dry and seemed like it had been made earlier and just sat in a fridge before they served it. The only way I could eat it was to add a lot of the Columbia hot sauce, which ended up being the real winner both in flavor and its ability to help me eat the dry sandwich. Overall disappointing experience for a staple restaurant location and iconic sandwich. Perhaps it was an off night, I’m hopeful for a better visit in the future.
