Absolutely horrible communication! I applied for a position with a very well known company in late November. They hyped me up, preparing me for the interview and making me seem like I would be a great fit for the position. I had my first interview and it went great, even the interviewer said so...a few more weeks went by and I didnt have any communication from the staffing agency. I emailed the senior recruiter and she said that I should be moving on to the next round of interviews and she'll have an update tomorrow. A whole week went by and I had the email her AGAIN for an update! Then she said she doesn't know what's going to happen to the position because the hiring manager is not responding to them...why do I have to contact you to keep getting updates? If I'm in the running for this position then why are you not updating the candidates. Finally, it's another month later and I still haven't received any official update. No sorry for wasting your time". No "here is another opportunity that I found for you". Nothing. The lack of empathy for dragging someone along this brutal interview process for 2 months without any real closure. Something is fishy about this staffing company. If a company doesn't want to move forward with a candidate you should just properly communicate that and find another position for that very qualified candidate. This company is very unprofessional and lack proper communication. I wouldn't waste my time with them.
