UPDATE 11-26-2019 Still no refund and no laser they will not return my property to me. Or give me my money back. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE GUYS! Still waiting for an answer from them they have had my machine back for 2 months now and still no refund. Or any contact they do not respond to emails or calls. So no laser or a refund and they have all of the money. Buyer Beware!!!! Fred Nielsen I am writing this letter in disappointment of the laser that I purchased from you. As you know it has been misrepresented from day 1. The cabinet was not new or refurbished as you stated. I also was never quoted used or refurbished only an open cabinet. I was never shown a picture of what it might look like until it was completed. It did not match anything on the quote or your website. I was then told the website is being updated. That is why I did not see what I got. Not until I asked for touch up paint was I made aware the cabinet was 15-20 years old. This was a bit of a surprise that I was not aware of. I have no idea if anything else on the unit is used. I cannot trust this company to tell me the truth. When we received the delivery the pallet was falling apart. We could not get it off the truck with a pallet jack and lift gate alone. I had to borrow a forklift last minute even though I paid for the lift gate fee. The packaging was poorly done. We managed to unload the unit with the forklift. The training and installer that you sent had zero tools. He had to borrow everything from a screwdriver to a level. All that was in his tool bag was papers and junk, no tools. His knowledge of the equipment and how to operate it seemed less than ours. He had to call the factory for most everything. He left the system unleveled even though I provided the tools to do so. All and all it was a waste of our time. We seem to have laser connection errors quit frequently as well as other software issues with loading vector or ai images. Not sure why it is so difficult on this system. The rotary tail stock was sent in for repair and it came back to me in worse shape. I have run lathes with motors on them that weigh 2,000 pounds and the bearing rolls smoothly all the time. Being told that this must be tight to carry the load is BS. At this time the machine is back in your plant to be placed in another cabinet and items repaired as needed. The pickup did not go smoothly as the pallet you sent was made to pick up from the side not the end. Also the trucker had no straps to transport the unit safely. Therefore, it took extra time to fit sideways in the truck. According to the trucking company, he was not scheduled until the day of pickup which I was told the truck was scheduled days in advance. Another day of my time wasted on a laser that we haven’t been able to use to make it profitable. I have never felt so taken advantage of by a company in my 22 years in business. The coward, Chris that sold me the laser, will not even return a call, email or text. This speaks volumes for your organization. I will always be an unhappy CLC customer and will most likely never have any favorable comments for this group. No one seems to be on the same page or have any knowledge of what the other is doing. As I never get the same answer. In summary, I want to return the laser for full refund. I will pay the original shipping cost to me. The laser is unused with the exception of what we did with Joe on the installation day. This will afford both of us an unhappy experience. I will no longer be a CLC customer, therefore, there is nothing to be unhappy about. I would appreciate your prompt response for this resolution. Regards, Shawn Ellis
I want to compliment one of your excellent employees, Wan. He went to great lengths to help me with using the laser equipment. I have always received quality service at your company and Wan’s extended help is a prime example of this. He knew just what to do to solve my questions and concerns in a timely manner. Such service builds great working relationships. I am looking forward to working with you again and will recommend to all companies that need to buy laser equipment.
Our company recently ordered a NEW laser from these guys and when it arrived it was not only rusty but appeared to be used. They sent someone less than qualified with no tools to do the installation of the unit. It is now back at the factory we thought they were picking it up to return our money as they mislead us as it was not a new machine. Buyer beware as they are not easy to deal with. Even when the bank called and stated they mislead the bank they did nothing. Our guess is there is no money to return.
We purchased a machine from CLC to begin updating and modernizing our laser engraving facility and capabilities. We manufacture and engrave products for very demanding users and applications, and quality is paramount. We are delighted with the machine, the results we are getting from it, and the improved speed and efficiency that it's giving us compared to our older machines. As importantly, we have been 100% pleased with the people at CLC and the service they have given us. From the specifying and sales process to the custom build of the machine, to the delivery, installation and training, our primary contact (Chris) and everyone else we have dealt with have been responsive, friendly and helpful--and I don't give customer service praise lightly, as great service is so rare these days. We thoroughly evaluated machines and proposals from at least 4 other vendors (including our previous laser manufacturer) before going with CLC, have no regrets that we selected them, and plan to buy additional machines from them in the future.
