Learning that your child has numerous cavities and needs extensive dental work is something no parent wants to hear and left me feeling devastated and bearing immense feelings of guilt. Despite brushing twice daily and eating minimal amounts of sugar, somehow this still happened to my son. But, the staff at Cornwall Pediatric Dentistry were incredibly kind, compassionate, professional and helpful from consultation date to actual appointment date. Any question I had was answered confidently and with kindness. The procedure itself was quick and clearly done with the utmost care. The anesthesiologist saw my worry and tears and quietly reminded me to keep it together for my son’s sake; he spoke to me in a reassuring way I hadn’t experienced from medical professionals before. The nurses after were fantastic and took the time to explain the aftercare to me, checked on my son frequently and even made sure that I was ok! They reminded me that even though we do all we can as parents, sometimes cavities still happen, and I left the office feeling much less guilty and happy to bring him there again in the future as needed. 11/10 for this clinic. Thank you!
