This is a top-notch traditional pizza. Not a thin crust but a light, airy yeasty crust. Fresh sauce, great tomato base for the cheese and toppings. Baked perfectly. Golden and a little dark around the edges. Cheese melted smoothly, toppings were fresh and hot. Pepperoni had zip. Great pizza. And Cottage Inn is a Michigan tradition (in more ways than one). Fresh toppings were always standard, and still are! Prices are what you expect today but that kept it from soaring into the 5 star area. (No seating inside, but 3 picnic tables with umbrellas out front. And if you order through their app, your pizza is ready exactly when the app says it will be ready.)

Jake, what can I say. Not only was this the best pizza I’ve had in a long time, but the owner an his soon to be wife, kept us entertained during our wait. What a great man/owner and such a lucky soon to be bride. We’ll certainly be returning customers.

Traverse City, the bar has been risen because the competition has just arrived. I just had my first pizza, the deluxe with butter Parmesan crust and it was really good. The ingredients are high-quality, it is evident. The cheese is great so I would try this pizza place for sure. We’ve got a lot of great pizza in this town and this is now one of them. Great customer service, speedy delivery.
