Customer experiences
I'm so thankful that I hired Say it Once - I've been working with Eric since the end of February. Maple was having possession issues with resource guarding me from my mom's puppy. I wanted someone who could come to the house and see how they interacted- taking Maple to a separate training place (as my mom's trainer wanted) I didn't think would be as productive. Eric was a life saver! He's always available for any questions and checks in for any help we might need. Maple has gotten so much better. She runs to her crate when I put on my shoes to leave, we aren't chasing bunnies, and she has been SO much better with the other dogs in the house. She walks almost always in a heel beside me- even when she's free. We've made huge progress thanks to Eric! Maple has been to several North Park Classes & one Lowe's Adventure class with Michelle. Michelle had Maple jumping up on the wood & carts by the end of class. I was so impressed! We can't wait for more classes & are looking into e-collar training for the next steps!
Michelle from Say It Once has been tremendous in training our dog. She not only assisted in his training but gave us the tools necessary to be successful in training him. Being first time dog owners, we felt overwhelmed in the beginning. We are able to bring him in public and walk him with confidence! We cannot thank her enough ❤️
Look no further for your dog training needs than with Say It Once. Kody was my trainer and he helped me vastly improve my relationship with my dog and gave me more confidence to pursue other things with my dog. The in home training and group classes were just what we needed. As well as eventually the 4 week ecollar training course. I am happy to say I can have my dog off leash after the 4 week course and his recall went from ok to fantastic. I can’t recommend this company enough. Give them a call for any of your dog’s training needs, you won’t be disappointed with the results.
I was ready to write this review after our first session with Hannah, but wanted to wait to see how everything progressed. We've been clients for 3 months (after recommendations from friends, family, and chatting with a trainer who used to bring her dogs to my former work place). Vinny and the entire team are dog first - these sessions definitely helped US learn what to do to best communicate with our pup, Charlie, and what we expect of him. He came to us as a rescue who was dumped, and we struggled with overexcitement, leash reactivity, severe separation anxiety (that had me sobbing daily), and leash pulling so intense that he managed to send my partner to the hospital with a shoulder injury. We looked at a few different trainers in the area, and let me tell you, it was a giant waste of time. So many were far positive reinforcement, negative reinforcement, overpriced, or had the same approach for every dog, no matter what. One place even insisted that there was no way to help the leash reactivity/overexcitement than a 2 week board and train, which would have been $1500. Hannah reassured us that we were doing the right things, gave us tips and tools to improve what we were doing, and really took the time to get to know us and Charlie. I cried happy tears after our session, telling her I thought I had been failing as a dog mom. We were cleared for group classes after our first session (this usually takes at least 2 FYI) and have gone 1-2 times a month since, each time with different trainers. Everyone offers something different, we learn so much, and have met some great friends. Our next adventures are pack walks and future e-collar training so we can allow our boy to experience off-leash freedom. This is, hands down, the absolute best investment we have made for our pup, and he is a happy, healthy, thriving dog with manners, boundaries, but still able to be his complete silly, goofy self.
