Customer experiences
I am taking the time to write this review in recognition of the excellent service provided by Myles Crowley, an engineer from Pimlico Plumbers. He arrived exactly at the agreed time and promptly dealt with the issue, explaining clearly that he would return on Sunday between 8am–9pm to complete the job once the necessary materials had been ordered. Throughout the process, Myles was professional, polite, efficient, and tidy. He communicated clearly, explaining both the nature of the problem and its causes, demonstrating impressive knowledge of his field. Most importantly, he delivered on everything he said he would do, within the timeframe he promised. Myles was an outstanding representative of Pimlico Plumbers, and I am very pleased with the service I received. (Jennifer, London)
Our boiler had shut down randomly because of a very old socket or fuse it was connected to had surged. Roy solved the problem instantly and was polite and professional. Thank you so much!
Greg Robinson from Pimlico Plumbers was absolutely fantastic. My electric boiler was not working and nor was my hot water. He fixed both and sourced the part needed the very same day.. Highly knowledgeable and friendly, he also booked me in for a few more snagging issues in my flat. In short, excellent.
Update: I have used Pimlico Plumbers on a few occasions. Mostly they have been ok. Over the past couple of years I have found the work quality has gone down but the rates remain very expensive. Recently, I had a problem with a leak in my waste pipe on the outside of my property, which was coming from my guest bathroom. The pipe was above the kitchen extension between the first and second floor. They sent a plumber out who looked at it from the street. He didn’t even ask to come in to have a look at it from the bedroom window right next to it. He just said I would need scaffolding to reach it. I then got a quote through saying once I had the scaffolding in place the job estimate would be £1400 for 2 men for 4 hrs! I got charged £150 for that useless advice! I thought it was a crazy estimate, so got another plumber out. He managed to fix the problem from the bedroom window and main bathroom window and took less than an hour, costing me £144. Update: Pimlico Plumbers have now looked into my complaint and have said I am not entitled to a refund. I didn’t actually ask for one, they contacted me after I posted my review. I still think the plumber should have looked at the leak from either of the two windows next to the pipe, instead of making assumptions from the street. If he had he would have seen that the clip needed replacing ( which was put back lower down) and the pipe needed twisting back into place. Even if they did still did need scaffolding for health and safety reasons, how on earth would that work need 2 men for 4 hours! Photo added below.
