Craic Clover

Update from Dec 22nd, 2025 We'll, just like most restaurants in Parry Sound this place is slipping. Our last visit was on Tues, wing night. We were happy with that but fish orders are now over cooked, full of batter. Staffing was the issue last night. 1 server over her comfort level. We arrived at 6pm, got a beer quickly, placed an order for garlic bread to start. Followed by a 2 piece fish and chips and Chicken stir fry. We never got our starter at all! The server had said she saw our food being plated about 30 mins in. The Stir fry came 45 min later and warm at best. The 2 piece fish order did not arrive with other meal. The server said she told cooks to reduce the fish as it was over cooked. I Don't by her story! The fish came 10 mins after my stir fry did, so over cooked it was hard, crunchy and full of batter no fish. Each time we go, its gone down hill with food and service. Place was busy enough for 1, tables needed bused, place looked bad. I know this place won't last long if this keeps up. Not sure we want to come back. Thought we had a new favorite place but not any more sadly. The bathrooms have not been cleaned and restalked. A lady told the server womens bathroom needed toilet paper. My friend used the men's and the garbage was over flowing. That's unexceptable for a restaurant at flu season not to be cleaned and stalked several times during shifts. Do better! Get 2 servers on at least per shift. Kitchen needs to set standards higher I know they have. Attached over cooked fish photos. Gross! This was our first time in since the new name and renos happened. It was my 80 yr old mother that recommend trying it. The atmosphere is fantastic, clean and small tvs at tables. A call bell if you need a server quickly. George was a great server. Quick to take orders, up sell and recommend specials. About a 15 min wait for food. I had a Seasonal Salad with plenty of berries, cheese and nuts and lots of grilled chicken with it. My friend had the Craic burger that was home made and delicious with plenty of toppings. Thank you for the double pickle and not just 1 like most places do. The fries have a light coating. Coffee was tasty and over all experience was great. We are definitely returning and recommending to others.

Went for lunch with my family and every single one of us thoroughly enjoyed our awesome waitress, the service, the outdoor patio and the food. Lots of great options! (The inside opens up August 8) Will be back for sure to see what they’ve done with the place and to try more food. Definitely recommend giving the place a try :) The patio is also pet friendly and they have a mini menu for your pup as well 🐾

New restaurant in Parry Sound is a welcome addition to downtown. Excellent, quality food, staff are friendly and attentive, and a beautiful patio with live music on weekends. Sadie was lovely. When I mentioned i wasn't drinking because I'm getting over being ill, she offered me a cup of tea and returned with honey and lemon on the side. Very thoughtful. I will be back- - often!
