I booked my car in for an MOT and full service on Thursday. When I dropped my vehicle off, I was informed that it would be ready by 10:00am. I did not receive any call or update, so I had to contact you myself. I was then told that my car required new tyres and that they had already been ordered—without anyone seeking my authorisation beforehand. I was subsequently told the car would be ready around lunchtime. Once again, I received no update and had to chase this myself. Later, I was informed that the car also required new brakes and brake pads. I do not understand why this was not communicated earlier, along with the issue regarding the tyres. I was then told that the rear tyres also needed replacing and that my car would not be ready until the following day. The next morning, I called at 8:30am and was assured the car would be ready by 10:00am. I arrived at 10:30am, only to be told that the tyres had still not arrived. When I questioned the lack of communication throughout this process, I was given no satisfactory explanation. I then had to wait at your premises for three hours until the work was finally completed. To make matters worse, after driving away I discovered that the tyre pressure was incorrect, meaning I now have to return again to have this rectified. I have paid over £1,500 for this service, yet the experience has been nothing short of unacceptable. The repeated lack of communication, failure to seek authorisation before carrying out additional work, delays, and poor attention to detail are extremely disappointing. Given the circumstances, I believe a full refund is justified. I would appreciate a prompt response to this matter and confirmation of how you intend to resolve my complaint.

The experience was pleasant. It was to take approx 1 hr but took almost 2. A light bulb needed changing which i was going to discount with my motoring club £10 voucher but the system did not allow the mot and voucher to be used together. This was an unreasonable rule to be honest but no fault of staff. I feel a text reminder with address and telephone number would have been helpful on the day or day before.

This isn’t my usual service centre and I am not coming back. If I’m paying £400 for a major service, I expect the work to be done well, especially the simple stuff. When I picked my car up last week, the service booklet hadn’t been filled out and the car’s “maintenance required” light hadn’t been cleared. I returned to the garage to have this fixed and while they cleared the light, all they did was stamp the booklet. They did not sign it, did not write down the mileage, they didn’t even write the date down. But mistakes happen, I understand, and I could fill in the missing information myself. What I cannot understand is how they have left my engine oil cap off. I only discovered this today, so for a week engine oil has been spraying all over my engine bay. To charge £400 and mess up the simple stuff has me questioning what else have they messed up in this major service? It’s just disgraceful.

Have used this place previous for tyres with reasonable service and competitive price so thought I would give them a go for a major service and MOT. Reasonable price for routine work with a discount on the MOT. Booked online and drop off was nice and simple. Served by Kamran who was very polite. Explained I needed about an hours notice for collection. Was sent an advisory list of extra work recommended which I declined and then Kamran gave me notice to collect the car which made the whole process efficient. Sadly I found some damage which after a couple of phone calls and emails they accepted liability and will cover the repair cost. Sadly further inconvenience to me and currently no gesture to apologise. But they are making good which is the most important thing. Despite that I’d still use them again for tyres and service / MOT as I’m sure it was a one off error. But many thanks to Kamran for his service on the day and assistance resolving the matter.
