Customer experiences
Had such an amazing experience! The staff is so sweet and you can tell they really care about creating a safe and welcoming environment. So many fun pottery pieces to choose from! Can’t wait to pick up our pieces!
We had the BEST experience at Crock A Doodle thanks to Sean! He was so friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience so much fun. Sean was incredibly flexible and accommodating with our group, making sure everyone had what they needed and felt comfortable. You can tell he truly loves what he does — his energy made the day even more special. We honestly can’t say enough good things about him. Thank you, Sean! You made our visit unforgettable and we can’t wait to come back because of you!
Senior group attended to do a paint a project. Shop is well located, beautifully laid out, and staff were very welcoming. Knowledgable staff were very pleasant, good to explain process, and great at making suggestions. Would definitely attend again.
My friends and I visited last weekend. It was very loud since there was a large birthday party booked at the same time- not the biggest issue but it was distracting and some of the kids interfered with our belongings. Perhaps bookings could be more thought out. The washrooms were very small and not clean- there were stacks of bins under and around the sink, no garbage bins so paper towel was just thrown everywhere, and the seat didn't appear to have been cleaned in awhile. We enjoyed painting our pieces, though they were very overpriced- i did a small teapot which was $52 + tax. The real issue was after we left. We were told the pieces would be kilned and ready for pick up the following weekend. When we called to confirm if they were ready, we were informed that one of the pieces (my teapot) was missing. The employee didn't offer any sort of refund or solution but just kept saying it was "all good"? We called again the following Monday and were told that the teapot was returned by another group- so clearly the organization of this place needs to be fixed. We were the last group of the night... how hard is it to keep a group's things together? Anyway, we finally picked up all our pieces, but when got home, we discovered another one of our pieces was missing!? We called again and were informed it was JUST going into the kiln now... even though it's been 1.5 weeks since our visit. Losing track of people's pottery that they spent money on is unacceptable. And the fact that this happened to two of us in one group tells me this isn't a one off occurance. It would be more forgivable if we were notified of the mix up when it happened, but we had to keep calling in order to get information. We will not be visiting again unless some changes are made.
