Customer experiences
I dropped in last Friday while visiting the area. I got set up pretty quick, was offered a chance for a class or open gym, and got a quick overview of where things were. I came back Saturday morning and despite being really crowded, the class instructors easily managed logistics, communicated clearly, and gave each person individual attention. I’ve been a CrossFit instructor and know from experience that running things this effectively and efficiently is difficult. Members were very welcoming and introduced themselves. It was a great experience; I understood the coaches and felt safe with their instruction, the camaraderie energy from the gym was extremely motivating, and the space is great. I’ll be back my next visit to C Springs!
I was in town for a conference and did a drop in. I enjoyed it so much I did a second day the next morning. Anyone that likes to do drop ins while traveling knows this is the best signal of quality out there. Specifically I thought the coaching was both high quality and a good positive vibe. Nicely appointed gym with room to do warm-up or personalized pre-WOD before class. Plent of room in class, too. Also, take note, so many time options, loved it. Wish my home box offered as many! Nice work, SoCo on building a health community.
Be careful of the $171 cancellation fee. They make you purchase the month after cancelling if the request comes in after the 15th. I'm calling it a "cancellation fee", though it's just a policy. Otherwise, the gym's fine. EDIT: Regardless of transparency, it's an unreasonable policy! While everyone else in the "industry" might do the same thing, we should consider whether someone might pay for nothing. $171 is a lot for nothing. I wouldn't take $171 from a friend for nothing. It's not a friendly policy.
I dropped in to CrossFit SoCo for a few weeks while in Co Springs. Large gym with modern equipment. The coachs are encouraging and give good pointers throughout the workout. The afternoon classes were busy and everyone is very friendly. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town.
