Very happy with the install. I saw Dan’s truck while I was driving shortly after building my garage and needed an OH door installed. Gave him a call, he was very responsive and it was a painless experience. 8’x16’ door w/ side mount motor. Saved us some money vs going with the garage package kit, and we received a higher quality door and motor. Would recommend him to anyone.

Cannot say enough good things about Dan! We've used his company for years. First for just garage door maintenance, new opener etc. Then a new door last year. And anytime I had a question or a problem arose over the last few years, he was always able to come out and take a look. BUYER BEWARE (ESPECIALLY IF YOUR A WOMEN) I am writing this review a little late, as I don't like to give a bad review. This has been bothering me since Dan did my install last fall. I was in the middle of a basement Reno, our spring broke on the garage door. I thought that I would call a just get a new garage door installed. I happened to see a good review posted about Doors by Dan and thought I would support a local business. I called Dan and he came over and gave me a quote and I went ahead with it. Dan mentioned that he thought my home was originally a show home and my door has drywall or some issue that would need extra framing/backing installed before the door could go in. I said no problem I would have my framer there to do that for him. Once it came time to install he said don't worry just get the material and he would do it for an extra cost. In the meantime, I texted Dan to see about clearing the space in our garage so that he could have the room to do the install. (as I had a heavy shed in the box in there) Dan phoned me back and was very rude and condescending to me stating "I don't know SUSAN I'm at baseball drinking" I can't do this now. My BF was sitting beside me and heard it all. Well then DAN why did you call me? I came home on the day of install and Dan was finishing up, he told me that I would have to go buy the flashing or whatever to finish/seal the out side of my garage door. (you can see in the pictures) Dan had told the worker in my basement what to do. So I was left with this terrible looking "framing" on the inside of my garage and unfinished missing flashing/trim on the outside. (as shown in the pictures) I just had window installers at my home and they fixed the flashing on the outside for $200. I would definitely NOT recommend Dan to do any work, as I have been left with an unfinished garage door. Especially after the way he talked to me on the phone when he had a few drinks.
