Very satisfied with the way our backyard project turned out! When we first bought our house, we had nothing in the backyard, except a small concrete pad outside the door. Big Visions was able to upgrade us to a fully extended patio, gazebo, and a nice wall with space in the middle for our grill. I included some pics to showcase what they are capable of. I highly recommend, though there are a few caveats. If I'm accurate, I would probably give them about 4.3/5, due to the fact we had some bumps along the way working with them. Nevertheless, we still love the way the project turned out. Pros: - Most affordable landscapers my family found in Charlotte. Other companies we met wanted to charge us a minimum of $30,000 - $40,000 for this project, but Big Visions did everything for only about $18,000! We really appreciate that affordability. - The workers were super polite and nice! Always wanted to make sure the work looked good and they tried to minimize disturbances to our neighbors as best they could. - Adaptability. They did a great job problem solving when we ran into bumps along the way. For example, they found that our backyard was not flat like we thought, but actually sloped at 5%. This made if difficult to lay out the pavers for patio extension, but they figured out how to get the slope right by digging a deeper area around. - High satisfaction with the end product. We love how everything turned out and are now excited to invite family and friends over to hang out in our backyard. Cons: - Communication. I would say this is the biggest area they could improve, which is why I want to mention it. For example, when the project materials were delivered to our house, they didn't tell us when they would arrive, so when they suddenly showed up early one morning, some of our neighbors were really upset at the noise! Plus the delivery guy wanted to drive them into our backyard with a giant forklift, which would've ripped up not only our grass, but theirs as well. I ended up having to negotiate with him to leave the materials in my front yard so my neighbors wouldn't be angry. In retrospect, I really would've appreciated a heads up on the delivery date so I could've warned my neighbors about that. I hope they give future customers a heads up about that as they continue. Furthermore, it turned out the wall materials they ordered for us were not correct in the beginning. It was disappointing because I had showed the project manager my neighbor's wall when we first met and explained how we wanted something similar, so I figured she would know. However, I won't hold it against them because they were willing to fix the wall for free! Very nice of them and we truly appreciate. No harm done in the end, but I would recommend future customers always go over the project material quotes with them carefully and make sure they order exactly what you want. - The project completion date took much longer than estimated. For my family, this wasn't a big deal, as we didn't have any deadline required, but I just want to point out in case future customers have a deadline. The whole project took about 2 months longer than anticipated. Granted, it turned out great and met our expectations, but I just want to let people know that projects of our caliber take time, so expect a few month buffer from whatever completion date you're expecting. Overall like I said, they did great work and I highly recommend with only a few points of critique, so I think 4 stars is fair.
