This has got to be the absolute best apartment complex in citrus heights for your money's worth. The maintenance team fixes things right away, management is super polite, the amenities are top-notch minus the bbq. Ill admit, I was worried about the hot tub not working and when I mentioned it, it was fixed two days later. That's FAST. My wife and absolutely love it here, especially having a wood-burning fireplace, tends to help set the mood 😉

Since my roommate and I have moved in at Foxborough, there’s have been multiple problems. From the two gates malfunctioning a few times throughout the month of August, to the lack of maintenance crew that works here, to the water damage that still has YET to be completely fixed in the master bedroom (see pictures below). UPDATE: I tried posting the pictures of the water damage on here but it doesn’t look like it’s taking. Speaking of which, I called the emergency telephone number at 3am when the water damage happened and the call went straight to voicemail. I had to call out of work and call the office at 8am when they opened to tell them there was water damage in the master. When I spoke to management the next day asking what the deal was with the emergency number, they had told me they thought my number was a telemarketing number because it was a 615 area code. I was told by maintenance that the cause for the water damage was because of the upstairs neighbor’s drain pipe was clogged. He had said they missed two drained pipes in the complex: Ours and someone else’s. I had been told by maintenance that this would all be fixed in about a week after the day of the water damage. The incident happened on November 29th. It is now December 27th and work is almost finished. As I mentioned above about the lack of maintenance staff? There’s only one guy currently that is doing all that he can. Overview: The place looks nice and it’s convenient for me because it’s not too far from my job. However, I will look elsewhere next year as this place is not what I was expecting it to be. I highly recommend overlooking Foxborough.

Disappointing Experience: Mold and bug infestation persist despite remediation efforts I recently had the unfortunate experience of living in an apartment plagued by mold and bug infestations. From the moment I moved in, it was evident that the living conditions were less than ideal, with visible signs of mold growth in various areas of the apartment and an unsettling presence of bugs crawling around. The mold problem was particularly concerning, as it not only posed health risks but also created a damp, musty odor that permeated the air. Despite notifying the owners promptly about the issue, their initial response was slow and lacked urgency. Eventually, after persistent complaints, they arranged for a remediation company to address the mold problem. While the remediation efforts were carried out, the results were far from satisfactory. Although some visible mold was removed, it quickly became apparent that the underlying issues causing the mold growth were not adequately addressed. Within weeks, the mold began to reappear in the same areas, indicating that the problem had not been resolved at its source. In addition to the mold problem, the apartment was also plagued by a persistent bug infestation. Cockroaches and other pests seemed to have made themselves at home, despite repeated attempts to eradicate them through pest control treatments. No matter how many times the exterminators were called, the bugs always seemed to return, making daily life in the apartment unbearable. Despite the owners' assurances that the mold and bug infestations would be taken care of, the situation remained unchanged even after multiple attempts to address the issues. It became increasingly clear that the owners' efforts were insufficient and that they were unwilling or unable to provide a safe and habitable living environment for their tenants. Overall, my experience living in this apartment was nothing short of disappointing. The persistent mold and bug infestations, coupled with the owners' ineffective remediation efforts, made for an unpleasant and unhealthy living situation. I would strongly advise against renting from these owners to anyone looking for a safe and comfortable place to call home.
