Customer experiences
What a cool spot! Delicious beer and a big variety with some collaborations with other breweries. Didn’t try their pizza but it looks so good. They have flights of 6 beers for $17, they aren’t messing around! Joe was very helpful offering suggestions for our flight.
Had a great time playing euchre at Daft on a breezy Tuesday. They host a super social euchre tournament that’s easy to join and fun to play. Good crowd, and even better beer.
Daft is changing the game with their new pizzas! As long time patrons, we are ecstatic for the opportunity to have a taste of Little Italy in Kingston. Here is our not yet comprehensive ranking of the pies : 1) Daftly Dill-icious 2) Ya Basic (ate too quickly to get a photo) 3) Steven Jobs 4) Holy Moly Pepperoni (would benefit from an enhancer, drizzle or dip) While the pizza is a good size for one person, cutting it into sixths or eighths would make it easier to share. Looking forward to the gradual release of new combos each week!
I have been attending trivia night here for over a year and look forward to it. During the winter, when the patio is closed and seating is limited, I usually arrive about two hours early to get a good table. On this occasion, I was disappointed to see that all of the best tables (chairs with backing) were reserved by the owner, apparently for friends or family. As a result, it felt like paying customers were given lower priority. I believe trivia night should feel equally welcoming to all guests. If seating is limited, I think reservations of the best tables should be handled in a way that is fair to regular customers. I'm disappointed that the owner thinks this is okay. If you want to have a night for only friends and family, close your bar to the public. Otherwise, I think you should make the customers feel more welcome.
