Dan Armstrong Attorney at Law

I wish I could give Dan and his assistant Tara 6 stars. They were absolutely there for me when I needed them and I consider myself lucky to have had these two on my side. Each of them are knowledgeable, understanding, nonjudgmental, vigilant, communicative... simply the definition of professionalism. Tara's good nature always put me at ease, even when things looked grim. She always responded to my calls and emails in a timely manner, made contact with people and filed paperwork as soon as humanly possible, and kept me updated by the minute regarding things on their end. Her knowledge of the law was also quite impressive, and I dare say that she would make a great attorney in her own right. But Dan IS a great attorney. He fought hard for me, and I can never repay that. He's a legal machine that gets the job done. While Tara was my first point of contact, Dan was always available when I needed to talk to him, or would call me back as soon as possible. At one point I neglected to take care of some matters on my end, and Dan immediately called me to give me a very professional kick in the butt/motivational speech. I can't tell you how much I appreciated that talk. Things worked out great for me in the end. However, months before my ordeal was over it was clear to me that if I lost my case then it would be well deserved, because these two clearly were doing everything they could. I could go on for days. Suffice it to say that you could not have anyone better to represent you than Dan Armstrong. The knowledge of an encyclopedia, the work ethic of a border collie, the bedside manner of your grandmother, and the straightforwardness of your grandfather. These are genuinely good people. Thank you Dan. Thank you Tara.

Hire Christian Strahl instead! It's either alzheimers or alcoholism with Dan, can't tell which... He might have been a decent lawyer once but I'm not convinced. Had the audacity to suggest to me I didn't know the difference between being assaulted and being battered. Tara is great though.

First contact with Dan Armstrong was terrible. He called while driving and refused to listen to pertinent information and went straight to laughing when I said I would not take a plea before he even heard the context of my situation. My parents have lived in Corvallis for over 10 years, paying taxes and contributing to the community as engineers and volunteers. It was very disheartening that this is the way we are being treated by people who are supposed to represent us.
