David is a great friend of my husband whose name is also David lol. Our house hunting journey began over a year ago. We didn't even know where to begin with everything since it was a long process. David made it work for the both of us and we were so lucky to work with someone like him. He knows his job very well and is very determined on helping his clients from start to finish. David Gonzalez is the guy anyone needs when it comes to buying a house!

Let me preface this by saying that I think all realtors and real estate attorneys are parasitical scum and an unnecessary evil foisted on us by a politico-industrial cabal that has successfully achieved the state of regulatory capture at every level of government and finance. So, in other words, I don't like realtors as a rule. And yet I was very satisfied with David. I was introduced to David by a mutual acquaintance, and since I happened to have an eye on buying a first home for when my then heavily pregnant wife and I had our first child, I reached out immediately. While it took some time to convey to David what I am interested in and what I'm definitely not interested in, including what would be a possible price for me rather than not (David was urging me to aim higher and I had a bear of a time telling him that I can't), what speaks highly to David's credit was his persistence and patience with a hard to please customer such as myself. He answered my at times endless and vituperative questions with the same steady polite attention. When I had to change plans on more than on occasion with regards to viewings with a first pregnant wife and later nursing a newborn wife (seeing as our interaction spanned a good four months and change), David was reasonably accommodating and managed to get us viewings for everything we wanted to see (which was still too much, but I had to learn that the hard way). Once we happened on a surprise opportunity to get a bid into a little gem in the rough in the remote hinterlands of New Jersey, David was immensely helpful in navigating this process, introduced me to a very competent real estate attorney, who despite being a crook like the rest of them, was at least a very genial, likable, and highly effective crook, and someone I actually genuinely enjoyed spending time with and look forward to further befriending in my personal life. Hey, I warned you at the outset that I have a low opinion of these professions! In a pretty blistering span of six weeks, we negotiated a purchase agreement with the seller, went through the process of getting the mortgage with a collosal army of incompetent cretins know as a bank's home lending group (I work for the parent entity, so I intimately know what they are!). David stood by me the whole time, ready with advice at all hours of all days, and even found me wandering the wretched streets of this most rarified corner of hell called Hackensack to get me to the close. Honestly, I couldn't have done it all without the experience and kindness of a gentle soul like David. If you're a cantankerous curmudgeon like I am, and are nevertheless convinced that you want a home to be as remote from the morons that abound around us as feasible, I can sincerely recommend David. In fact, I am even able to forgive him for being a realtor.
