I stayed at Motel 6 Overland Park this past weekend from November 1st to November 3rd, with my boyfriend, and we’ve stayed there in the past and everything went well no complaints or anything. Well, this past weekend, my boyfriend spotted two bedbugs on one of the pillows and when we left Motel 6 Overland Park I had bite marks all over my body from my arms to my back from bedbug bites. If you stay at Motel 6 Overland Park I would double-check the beds to make sure they don't have bedbugs so you don't experience the same annoyance that I'm currently experiencing. I would ask the front desk about checking for bed bugs, just to make sure they didn't see them either while the maids are cleaning the rooms.

I've been here for a couple of days. And it's clean, quiet, secluded. I think it's a nice hotel. Yes I've seen a few roaches. I just kill them myself. No big deal. But all in all the stay has been comfortable so far. Also my cats can stay with me for free!!

Positive: Clerk was helpful. Nice at the window checking in. And, getting towelsand remote. Negative: Can't really complain much about a --- dollar room. Not the best. But better than the room I had in Austin for same price.

I had booked a room for one week, but I stayed only one night, and what a night! My body started itching after a short period of time, and in the morning, I found out that I had spent the night with a roach on the bed. Three itching skin lesions (one in forehead and two in my left arm) discovered as soon as I woke up. I went to show the roach and my skin lesions to the manager, Anthony, who did not demonstrate that much of concern stating he would refund me for the other days, but not for the night I had been there since I did not report the issue the same night. Therefore, I tried to contact the owner in Days Inn besides this Motel 6 (same owner), but he was not there. I showed the roach and my skin lesions to a female clerk there, and she took a picture of the roach. I gave her my phone number and asked her to let the owner know, and requested a phone call back from him, but the phone call never happened anyways. Anthony (Motel 6 Manager) was informed of my intention to complaint, which made him furious, came to knock at the door of my room yelling at me with lots of disrespect stating "I told you I was going to refund you." The experience was not pleasant. At the end, I was still charged for that night. What a waste of money! Be careful if going there. Smelly rooms, poor hygiene and be prepared to deal with a Motel 6 manager convinced he is your dad. This place deserves no starts at all.
