The room i had was a uniquely made family suite. I liked it, but I requested extra cleaness due to my daughter in the Cancer Recovery program still, and the bed we were to sleep had hair on it, and there was some hair on the back of the toilet. I took pictures and showed the frontdesk gentleman and he came to the room with a clean sheet (I appreciated that), took the hair strand off the bed and threw it outside 🙃, and stated that i should let the Manager know. Mr. Peter (the manager) seemed very pleasant and thoughtful, tho. Thank you

I needed somewhere safe, cheap, and clean to stay for a weekend tournament. Hard to find nowadays. This place was perfect for those needs. Kartiq (spelling?) at the front desk was very kind. The room overall was pretty small and the only thing I didn’t care for was the bathroom being very crammed as well as having to turn the shower way up to get hot water with not the greatest water pressure. It was very well priced and clean.

This hotel is very clean! The lobby sparkles! Room was clean, no problems. Wifi worked well. The room was slightly stuffy when I came in, but the air conditioner cooled it right down. And frankly, when I stay in higher end hotels, they blast that air conditioning so that it is super cold when you walk into the room for the first time and it is awful I have stayed in Econo Lodge Inns not nearly this clean.

For starters, I'm a Choice Hotels member. I booked a 3 bedroom room weeks before our arrival. They're spacious rooms, we've stayed here plenty of times to know. We got a call the morning we where coming in to give up our room for another family who has more people. I agreed, and asked for a double queen room instead. They said ok and the conversation was over. We stay at this hotel every time we come to Kansas, so upon arrival I walk in, do what you're suppose to do at check in and the guy tells me I need a 250 dollar deposit. Never one time in the history of Choice Hotels have I been asked for that kind of money. This hotel had a 50 dollar deposit that I gladly paid in the past and always got in back upon departure. So I argued with the guy a little and after about 20 minutes of him texting his manager, they said they will do the 50 dollar deposit this one last time. They have print outs everywhere in the lobby that say 50 dollar deposit but he said you have to read the fine print. He showed me and it does say that, but why do you need that much money for someone who is traveling and needs that money for expenses? So we get to our room and the beds are doubles, my wife and I couldn't sleep the entire night because we kept bumping into eachother. We where not offered a lesser payment or a refund or anything. The sink wouldn't even drain when you washed your hands. At the end of the day, we will never stay here again as it WAS our primary spot when we come to Kansas City. I hope they figure it out but the "fine print" thing the guy pulled out, he really tried to undermine me. Unacceptable. I hope I get some sort of refund as it was only 51 dollars and 6k points. Please resolve this problem.
