First they delivered my package to someone in PA, ( I live in OH), found it after few days, then gave me window for delivery 12-4pm and tried to deliver at 9am. Said could not deliver because I was not available. Of course I was not. I was working. Delivery supposed to be after 12... Overall I got my item that I paid $200 for delivery 10 days late. Not a good business.
Dayton Freight cancels orders on you without notification or explanation, very unprofessional and very rude dispatch , Judy with customer service is the only competent one there , I’ve had many pickups with them scheduled through a 3rd party company, each and every time they shipped something for me it was either damaged or the driver tried to charge my customers cash on the side to bring in the product, and after being so inept they have the gall to cancel and refuse pick ups from me without any explanation, call ahead or concerns for customer satisfaction, I highly do NOT recommend using them for any business or personal shipping. There are plenty of great companies like Forward Air, Road Runner or Ward Trucking that care about customer satisfaction. Very dissatisfied!
Just got a delivery from them. Outstanding service, very quick. The driver was very helpful and professional.
