When pressed to help resolve issues they turn to childish behaviors like hanging up the phone and responding with petty childish and immature responses. I would do everything I could to not use this company for any of your shipping needs.
Roger HuffI've had multiple issues with Dayton Freight delivering items for our business. Got a call yesterday about a delivery and the window was 9-3 so I asked for a 30 minute call ahead. I get a call at 9:36 while they are already here and they leave by 9:40. I called back at 9:43 and they didnt answer. Called their main office to check on delivery and was told that I never asked for a call ahead and that I must have been mistaken. Instead of being apologetic I was informed that it must have been my issue not theirs. I can assure you it was most definitely not my issue.
Harry StetserSpent $13,000 on a pinball machine left the dealer Friday arrived at Dayton’s warehouse Saturday had a eta between eight and five Monday was supposed to receive a call did not get one call the company was told it was not being delivered today told them I was not going to be home the next day because I had to takeoff work and could not takeoff the next day then I was told that they would ship it back to the dealer and that that was my problem and in between me and them then asked if I could just come pick it up myself even though I paid for delivery to my house and was told that was fine they would get it off the truck could come get it sometime after 12 and that as far as me being refunded any money for my delivery to my house that was between me and the distributor it seems everything that is their fault is between you and the distributor other than that they did not care
