Let me preface this by saying that we were introduced to Tony during a very difficult time in our family. My mom's health was waning quickly, and we needed help getting her estate in order. Tony's understanding of estate planning is excellent. He has a phenomenal understanding of tax laws, and communicates things effectively, and clearly. Tony De Alicante's first gift is that of a teacher. We met Tony at a gathering of veterans where he provided a free presentation on the basics of estate planning. Although we were impressed, we thought we didn't have a need for his services since we had previously set up a trust with a still practicing local attorney 27 years earlier. Then an unexpected near death emergency occurred and before being wheeled into surgery, we asked ourselves "Everything is all set with our Trust, right?" This spurred us to double check that our affairs were in order and we were absolutely shocked to learn that our former attorney NEVER put a single item in the Trust. And despite multiple meetings over 27 years NEVER informed us of any of this—just kept saying "You're set, it's taken care of." Fool us once...we promptly enlisted the services of Tony. Describing the process as thorough is an understatement. Tony spent hours with us—asking multiple questions, raising a variety of scenarios we may want to consider and reviewing tiny details. Although the former attorney billed us for hours and hours, Tony actually worked for hours and hours and then showed us how the public record actually reflected the existence of a Trust.
