In our search for a trusted CPA for our personal tax return I interviewed a few firms and we decided to go with DeBoer & Associates and specifically Brad Yoder. We were looking for something just a little more helpful than someone transactionally doing our taxes...and their advisory package fit our needs quite well. In addition to doing our taxes, the advisory package includes a few hours of onboarding, a mid year touch base, and answer questions throughout the year that come up. Brad was great. I’m extremely disappointed with the service I’ve received from this CPA. From the very beginning, I was clear about my expectations: I wanted to build a long-term relationship and be a client for life. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and interest in taking care of my business has made that impossible. Important matters were neglected, and I often felt like I had to chase them down just to get answers or updates.
