I hired Kevin to helped me avoid a large increase in property taxes on my newly purchased home. Initially I was impressed with his knowledge. He explained that there could be 3-4 steps in doing this, appeal being the first. Now that the appeal is closed I was expecting the second step in which I would tell him all the repairs that were needed. At the end of the call he said, "This is where we wanted to be" Let me be clear, I went to him to lower the tax not to stay at the raised amount. If I did nothing and didn't hire him, I would be at the same place, but now I feel like he ripped me off.
