Just got home from having a crown done this morning and Dr Harris and Judith were amazing! I didn't even know that Dr Harris was injecting me with the numbing medicine...didn't feel a thing! I was able to leave with my permanent crown after less than 2 hours in the chair. Great experience...highly recommend!

Went in to get an estimate on getting 8 top teeth extracted and a set of dentures I only had 8 top teeth and already had a bottom denture that was getting worn pretty bad. I saw Dr. Harris who is a Great Dentist he gave me an estimate and I said I wanted the work done. When I went back to get a scan of my mouth the young lady only scanned the top of my mouth and I asked her what about the bottom she looked at the computer screen and said it says you just want a top denture and I said no I want a complete set top and bottom so she redone the estimate which was way over double the first estimate of getting 8 teeth extracted and a top denture remember I added the bottom denture so I knew it would be more but not way over double the first estimate. So when I questioned her it seemed to anger her she would not answer my questions so I told her ok but when I got home I thought it over and I went back the next day with the printed paper of the estimate and I talked to the ladies at the front desk which were super nice and I told them my concerns so they ran the estimate again after I explained exactly what I wanted done and the new estimate they printed out was back down to earth what I thought it would be a lot lower than the young lady that scanned my mouth estimate was. Well long story short I think this must have angered the young lady and Dr. Hood because when I went back to have the 8 teeth extracted. Dr. Hood was the one doing the extracting . He wasn't friendly when he came in. I asked was he Dr. Hood and his reply was they say I am and he never spoke to me the whole time and the nitrous oxide gas i asked for because of anxiety was pretty much useless. It never relaxed me like I was hoping it would . They placed my new dentures in that very day after my 8 teeth were extracted my mouth bleed for a few days but that was expected. The dentures turned out nice and I like them. My only problem was I didn't like Dr. Hoods attitude that day. He could of been having a bad day but I still think it was because I questioned the young ladies estimate.

Best experience ever with a dentist office! This was my first time experience as a new patient with dental associates in Athens. My previous dentist had retired and I had chipped their front tooth. I started searching for a new dentist and I saw that Dental associates in Athens had excellent ratings. I called to get an appointment and Lisa at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. She was able to get me apartment the next day. When I arrive the place was very nice inside and out. They were prompt to bring me back when I arrived. Addie was the first dental tecnician a met. She was very professional and friendly. How to use a really advanced new technical device to view the health of my front tooth versus the old style X-ray techniques. Very shortly after Dr. Harris came in and introduced himself and was very friendly.. After inspection of my chip tooth Dr. Harris asked me if I wanted to get a repair today I said sure. Shortly after that Dr. Hood and introduced himself and was very friendly and professional. Dr. Hood repaired the tooth perfectly. All of the dental rooms were very nice and had open windows with an outside view that was really nice for a dental office. Thank you Lisa, Addie, Dr. Harris, and Dr. Hood for making this a Great experience! I highly recommend this dental facility.

I have been going to them for years and I love it. They are a kind staff that are extremely helpful with everything you need. I always leave feeling taken care of and fully informed. I highly recommend them to anyone!
