Alair Homes Hatfield has had the pleasure of working with Design Lifestyles on two residential projects, and we could not be more satisfied with their partnership. As a professional builder and remodeler, it is great to work with a firm that shares our values. From start to finish, both projects went smoothly thanks to their professional approach and excellent communication. Lauren is always responsive to our questions and concerns, making collaboration easy. During the planning phase, they delivered drawings and finish schedules as promised, ensuring that everything stayed on track. Their ability to listen closely to our clients' wants and needs stands out and is crucial to all of us being able to bring those ideas to life in a functional and beautiful way. Their certification in living place design was particularly valuable on our most recent remodel project. It allowed us to ensure proper dimensions for entrances and hallways, which was a must for the layout and flow of the spaces. Over the last couple of projects, Charles, one of our project managers, has developed a good amount of trust with them, which has made working together even more efficient. The Design Lifestyles team was top notch throughout the process! They listened, they found samples that I really loved, and they implemented with first rate quality materials and work. They answered all my questions and went above and beyond in designing a beautiful master bath makeover, removing the tub and adding lots of storage and a large shower. They thought of little things that I would not have, such as putting the lever that turns on the shower on the wall across from the shower head so that it was easy to reach, installing a very quiet fan and heater by the shower entry, and wise choices on placement of outlets, lights and switches. They also selected beautiful rugs and drapes that made my existing downstairs decor really pop. I could not figure out what the downstairs needed, but Kim's and Lauren's expert eyes knew just what to add. They even had a nonslip lining sewn to the back of the rugs. No more checking to make sure the rug liner isn't showing. That's worth the price right there. They also communicated remarkably well about everything: choices, expectations, the process, payment, everything. And they were also a joy to talk to and work with. I'm showing photos of the master bathroom which was entirely their work, the rug and drapes in the dining room and the rugs and drapes in the living/breakfast area. Their design sense was impeccable! I so appreciated all of their suggestions and help. The workmen who came in to do the jobs -- plumber, cabinetry maker, countertop fabricator, tile layer, electrician, painters, did excellent work. Design Lifestyles excels in Professionalism, clear Communication, Approachability and Patience. Ms Lauren and Design Lifestyles helped us save time and effort in designing a complete home rebuild. Choices of room set ups, paints, colors were presented in a detailed and thorough way with excellent communication. If we had a question, Ms Lauren’s answer was to the point and kept the project aligned and on target. Lauren is outstanding in her ability to see colors, patterns, and present choices. Lauren and Life Design thought out side the box and were both diligent and delightful. Both added Value to the project. And both decreased the stress that is so often present when making so many choices.
