DHL Service Point (PAKMAIL OAKVILLE)

This Purolator drop box worked as designed. Similar to a mailbox, but designated as a drop box. Since Canada Post apparently owns 80% of Purolator, it is understandable that the drop box concept has a strong heritage rooted in Canada Post mailboxes. One disappointing aspect of this particular drop box was that the pickup time was not clearly discernable. The label was faded by the sunshine. Another potential problem is that the drop box is not obvious to find. The only reason why I found it was because I was able to discern its approximate location due to photos posted on Google Maps. There should be bright and clear signs that direct people from the road to the drop box location. Finally, security seems non-existent. A security camera should be hung up somewhere nearby, and a sign should be posted beside the drop box that warns potential criminals that their images have already been captured, and they will be prosecuted to the full extent of Federal Criminal Law if they do anything to disrupt the sanctity and integrity of the drop box and its contents. In summary, the drop box does what it was designed to do, but it certainly requires conspicuous location signs, and greatly enhanced security.

I’m wondering how would Purolater accepting this type of services?! Drop box in the parking lot?!!!! NO SECURITY !!! The boxes are wet because of the rain and snow. Google review should have dislike 👎 and no starts. Wasting my time 18 minutes driving and disappointed when arrived. Please read reviews before hitting somewhere.

Dropped an Amazon return in there weeks ago. They still haven’t received it. I think someone took it. I noticed the last review mentioned you can reach in and take things out. What is the point of this if it’s not secure? EDIT: Amazon did eventually receive it and refund me. I am trying to remove this review but it doesn’t seem to let me delete it.
