DK Builder did the most wonderful, thorough, highly-detailed and high-quality work renovating our old Tudor house, inside and out, above and beyond our expectation. It was a very complex project. In addition to the normal renovation tasks (complete renovation of all kitchen and bathrooms, removing weight bearing walls, installing new roofs and sidings, etc.), the project called for the complete rebuild of a modern study space above the garage, raising the turret roof and adding clerestory windows, and ensuring all the new interior and exterior works blend seamlessly with the old. Phares and Austin are extremely patient, knowledgeable, and skilled. They sourced the best craftsmen in Lancaster County, executed, delivered, and realized our architect's aesthetic vision in the most concrete manner, effectively and efficiently. As many of us who have renovated an old house know, there are so many unexpected "surprises" along the way. We attributed the ultimate success of our project to Phares and Austin's wonderful capabilities (and willingness) to listen, to investigate, to find what the problem is and to provide solutions.
