DMH has got to be one of the best companies I’ve ever worked with. Back in 2009 they did an excellent job adding a manual transfer switch to support plugging in a standalone gas powered generator for my house. Most recently, this month I asked them to install a standby Generac generator. The work was just completed today, March 4, 2025. Summary: 1. Communication with DMH (Mike Godard) is exceptional. 2. Once I approved the project material was ordered. 3. Upon delivery of the 10kw generator I asked if it were possible to keep the manual transfer switch. Mike gave it some thought and said Yes. I now have backup for my backup! 4. Installation was completed early afternoon on the first day. 5. Next I had to wait for my propane guy to do his side. Mike just told me to call him once the tanks were in place. 6. The propane guy dragged his feet a bit. But finally installed the plumbing to the generator. Now we had to wait almost another week to have the plumbing inspected. 7. The propane tanks were delivered with enough fuel to turn on and test the generator. Mike stopped by once I called him and I got to see the generac in action. Lots of steps summarized. Working with DMH (Mike) was a pleasure. I wish all the contractors I worked with were half as good! The only downside is that the guys going back and forth from outside tracked in some dirt. The guys doing the work otherwise worked well together and completed the job well. I’ve now have good addition to my home. I’m sure it will value. I highly recommend DMH Electric!
