I had the privilege of working with lawyer Inna Kogan on an extremely complex immigration case, and thanks to her expertise, dedication, and unwavering support, we received an approval! My case began with an application for a CUAET visa and a work permit. After two years of complete silence from IRCC, Inna filed a mandamus application on my behalf. At the same time, we started preparing my permanent residence documents. However, after 2.5 years from my initial visa submission, I received a Procedural Fairness Letter (PFL) under section 34(d) – “being a danger to the security of Canada.” At that moment, I thought I would never be able to reunite with my family in Canada. Inna remained calm, supportive, and determined to fight until the very end. She helped me develop a well-thought-out, strategic, and highly professional response.
