Customer experiences
Love the simplistic style of Muji. I picked up my travel essentials here ie containers. The natural fabric bag is so cute and affordable, DT Toronto store can do embroidered and I bought it several had it personalized for all my family and friends . There’s minimal fee and you choose fonts, thread colour and it took only 48 hours
What I like about Muji clothing is their color palette, it’s very earthy, muted and subtle unlike the loud bright colors of Uniqlo. I also like the fashion style and some of the natural fabrics they used to make their clothings. Prices are reasonable for what you get.
Cute, cozy and clean. It is a very nice place to shop for Japanese style minimalist housewares. High average to expensive for certain things. Their pens are unmatched.
Love the notebooks here and the minimal aesthetic. Would recommend the open flat dashed grid (A5) for bullet journalling and the lined notebook in pack of 5 (6mm, B5) for note taking. The passport-sized dotted notebook is great for specific habit tracking/taking on the go. I also used to love using the annual calendar in A6 as it fit well in my work bag, has monthly spreads and each weekly spread has equal space for every day of the week, with a grid page for notes, grocery list, etc on the other side. There are additional grid pages at the end too. The paper quality is quite good for the price, no complaints. I’ve not had issues with bleed through or feathering when using brush pens, highlighters/mild-liners or gel pens in addition to regular ballpoint. Have not tried fountain pens. I feel the recycled notebooks are more prone to feathering though, and ‘catch’ more with markers/brush pens; no issues if only ballpoint.
Doki Doki Land - Markham's First Ichiban Kuji Store & More is a hobby store.
