I feel disheartened to write this, but my recent experience needs to be shared. I was a semi-regular yet loyal customer for eyebrow threading. I never went to anyone else, always paid on time, tipped, and expressed gratitude. She even has messages from me showing that. Even when she cut me during past appointments and blamed it on me not pulling my skin tight, I stayed quiet and continued to support her business. This time, I asked for 6:30 and she moved it to 7. I didn’t mind, even after driving in traffic from work. I arrived on time but she was still with another client. When it was my turn, the service felt rushed. She was heavy-handed, and I reminded her in the middle of the service to please be gentle because my skin is sensitive. I asked for the same shape as always, just slightly thinner at the tails, but instead she made my whole brow thin with an arch—the opposite of what I usually get. The two brows ended up looking very different: one thin and jagged, the other thicker. By the time I pointed it out, the hair was already gone. During the upper lip threading, she was so rough that the thread broke multiple times. I even had to turn my face away because I was scared she’d cut my lip. At the end, I looked in the mirror and felt devastated. I told her three different times that I was about to cry and holding back tears, but she didn’t care, didn’t apologize, and didn’t take accountability. I gently explained that I wasn’t comfortable paying for the eyebrows since they looked so bad, but I would pay for the upper lip. I spoke calmly and softly. She insisted I had to pay at least $10 for the brows, even though she had always charged me $7. For a $15 appointment, I told her I would only pay for the lip and not the eyebrow portion. Instead of understanding, she raised her voice—even after I asked her to lower it since we were upstairs in her family area, not in the basement salon anymore. She told me if I wasn’t going to pay then I could just sit downstairs, which made me feel trapped because my dad was literally waiting outside to pick me up. I kept telling her how much I liked her business and how I always came only to her, but she waved me off, saying she didn’t need to show goodness to me. She said she gets a customer “like me” every once in a while. In the end, she told me to just pay $7, which I did. I waited for her to confirm she received it before she finally opened the door for me to leave. When I got home, I broke down sobbing. My mom went to talk to her, and while she admitted to my mom she made a mistake, she never once apologized to me. Instead, she told my mom the opposite story, claiming I made things up and lied. She apologized to my mom but not for the way she treated me. She also told my mom she would never touch my eyebrows again, which burned the bridge completely. It’s very sad because she is genuinely talented. In the past she always took her time and checked multiple times if I was happy with the shape, which is why I stayed loyal to her. But this time she rushed, was rough, made a mistake, and instead of handling it with kindness, she raised her voice, dismissed me, and treated me poorly when I was clearly upset. This isn’t written out of anger, but out of sadness. Others may still have a good experience with her, but for me, this was deeply hurtful and disappointing.

SHE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND RAISES HER VOICE WONT LET YOU LEAVE UNTIL SHE CHARGES YOU FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AND DESTROYING YOUR EYEBROWS, I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD OR NEGATIVE 5 STARS.
