All the dishes were delicious and full of flavour, from the creamy hummus and crispy cheese rolls to the juicy chicken skewers with fresh salad and rice. However, the bread was way too thick, almost like cake. I also removed one star because the service order was mixed up. The main course arrived before the appetizers, then the salad, and we had to remind them about the ayran after finishing our meal.

We had a wonderful experience! It was our first time to try this restaurant. We tried the Begendi Chicken, Adana Kebab, Baklava Sampler & ice cream, and Turkish Coffee. The Begendi is like a grilled mashed eggplant with cheese (probably mozzarella). The eggplant mixture is on the heavy feel, again its probably the cheese. Then chicken is not overpowering with eggplant mixture. Sorry I dont know the name of the eggplant mixture. It's a very good combination especially with the bread. I thought at first the bread was just a hollow bread but it wasn't. It was so fluffy. Next was the Adana Kebab, its mixture of ground beef & lamb. This is such a refreshing dish. I love the side dishes. They complement to each other. For dessert, we tried the baklava sampler & ice cream. It's the total opposite of my expectations. It wasn't sweet as the typical baklavas I have tried. And the ice cream! The ice cream! It was a very delicious experience! You should try it! It's creamy, chewy, right sweetness. Not the typical ice cream I have tasted. Ambience, I would say, it gives you the feeling that you are really in Turkey. And the best part of our experience, its the SERVICE!!! It was one of the best experiences we ever had. Prachi was so amazing! She was so accommodating especially when we told her that it was our first. She explained thoroughly the dishes we wanted to try. She was so enthusiastic in describing the dishes. She describe it so well that you can taste it. She really did a GREAT JOB! I forgot to ask the Chef behind the dessert counter. While we were waiting for for our order, we explored the dessert counter & the Chef explained to us the difference between the Baklavas. You can feel in the service that they are not in a hurry. They will attend to your needs & answer all your questions. Definitely, we will comeback to this restaurant!

Finally got totry Mado at Square One. My daughters treated me for Father's day. Turkish cuisine is one of the best and Mado didn't disappoint. They offer Eggs Benedict in both Salmon and also with Turkey. If you prefer meat, try the Beef Shish Kebab. We also tried the famous Mado veggie Pizza. Can I also recommend the Home made lemonade in a pitcher, it is very refreshing. Service is amazing. Our server, PRACHI, was the quintessential and professional staff. She was very cordial, patient and accommodating. She gave us good recommendations and her patience with our so many questions was unbelievable. The restaurant ambience is 10/10. I highly recommend giving them a try when you are in Mississauga.

We went to a Turkish restaurant for brunch and decided to try the Grand Breakfast platter with our friends, and it was honestly one of the best brunch experiences I’ve ever had. The platter was beautifully presented and came with a wide variety of items, making it feel like a true feast. From the different cheeses such as feta, kashar, and mozzarella, to the fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables, everything tasted fresh and authentic. The jams, honey with kaymak, and tahini pekmez added a sweet balance to the savory sides, while the olives and ajuka (hot pepper paste) gave a nice punch of flavor. The highlight for me was definitely the menemen, a Turkish-style egg dish with tomatoes, which was warm, comforting, and perfectly seasoned. The basket of handmade bread paired with all the spreads and cheeses was never-ending, and the unlimited tea made the whole experience feel even more relaxing and enjoyable. It was also extremely filling, so it’s definitely something you’ll want to share with family or friends. On top of the food, the service was excellent. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. Overall, it was one of the best Turkish meals I’ve ever had, and I would absolutely come back again. If you’re looking for an authentic and generous Turkish brunch, the Grand Breakfast is a must-try.
