As a student at Douglas College in New Westminster, I can confidently say that this institution is top-notch. From the moment I walked through the doors on my first day, I was welcomed with open arms by friendly staff and faculty members who were eager to help me succeed. The campus itself is stunning, with modern facilities and state-of-the-art technology that make learning a breeze. The library is a particular highlight, with an extensive collection of resources and comfortable study spaces that have helped me ace more than one exam. But it's not just about the buildings - the people here are what make Douglas College truly exceptional. The professors are passionate and knowledgeable, always willing to go above and beyond to help their students. And my fellow students are a diverse and welcoming community, with clubs and organizations for every interest. One of the things I appreciate most about Douglas College is their commitment to supporting their students. From academic advising to mental health resources, they offer a wide range of services to ensure that every student has the tools they need to succeed. And as someone who's struggled with anxiety in the past, I can't say enough about the support I've received from their counselling services. Overall, I feel incredibly lucky to be a student at Douglas College. It's a place that's truly dedicated to helping their students succeed, and I'm excited to see where my education here will take me in the future. I would highly recommend this institution to anyone looking to further their education and achieve their goals.

I don’t have any bias against Indians or immigration. However, I saw most of the security staff here are Indian and speak with a very strong accent!!!. As I often reach out to them for questions..., I find it very difficult to understand them (I'm a local resident). There have also been times when I asked questions, and they discussed among themselves in their own language (possibly Hindi or Punjabi). In any case, it would be better to hire staff with stronger communication skills...

I studied my UG here. The college is pretty decent on educational quality, but lacks in some certain important aspects like guiding, training for jobs, career classes, etc. Mostly felt like studying and completing my course. There was nothing beyond that. There are not enough clubs or interactions between students. The location is good, especially with the skytrain nearby. In addition, the campus is always clean and well-maintained. The faculty is highly professional and trained beyond the standard. However, there are few instructors who might not be the best for the college. The college is accredited and is very reputed in the Lower Mainland area, considering to be par with BCIT and langara College There are good food options on the campus as well. However, it might not be the most healthy option. The tuition fee for international students will cost around 2100 per credit and around 20,000 cad for a year (30 credits). Overall, it's a good college. But lacks interactions and social connections.

I will never forget Douglas College which provided me with the vital education. I am grateful to all my professors who not only taught me the knowledge and skills, but also gave me love and confidence. Meanwhile, I miss all my best friends and classmates because we worked together, hung out together, cried and laughed together when we were students. Once we worked as a team and gave a presentation, we actually were a little bit nervous that led to our team forgot an important part of the presentation. But we pretended to be confident and didn’t care about the score. Also, We loved participating many events that were organized by student unions. On the energetic campus , there is our best memory.

Douglas College, New Westminster Campus is a college.
