Couldn’t have asked or wished for more. For just a few hundred pounds more than quoted by the online companies, Tanya came to measure and advise, ensuring we got exactly what we wanted and needed rather risking an expensive mistake ordering on line. I love the shaker sage green we chose to match the tiles. They fitted and took the old doors away, added new draws, handles and soft closures. So probably cheaper than the online all considered. We’ve just finished having a new kitchen installed by Downend Kitchens. We couldn’t be happier with the quality of the kitchen, the installation, the associated works and all the tradesmen used. The project involved full rip out, overboarding and skimming, kitchen, floors and decorating. Designs were all drawn up with Tania, who then managed the project. She was nothing short of incredible throughout. Responsive, helpful, and able to offer valuable advice. She did two site visits before we completely the designs, and we visited the showroom to choose details like handles/colours etc. The project was due to last around 4 weeks, and a detailed itinerary was provided by Tania showing which tradesmen would be in on which days. Somehow, this itinerary was stuck to perfectly. At points, some of the work was even carried out ahead of schedule. The whole project wrapped up on the exact date stated which was super useful for a family with young children, to minimise disruption. The kitchen is stunning, with every small detail having been taken care of. Tania’s ideas combined with ours have resulted in a beautiful and functional kitchen that feels incredibly solid and high quality. Huge shout out to Pidge (electrics), Graham (plumbing), Chris (flooring/woodwork) and George (kitchen fitting). It’s very clear that these guys work together regularly, they were seamless in the way they coordinated with one another and got the job done. It’s a real shame we won’t be getting a new kitchen again soon, because I would use Downend Kitchens again in a heartbeat. Pricing is really competitive with major high street brands, but you’re going to get a service that is bespoke and far superior. There are only five stars to give… and Downend Kitchen Company get all five, unreservedly. I wish I could rate them higher! They have worked tirelessly with us to make sure we have perfection in our new kitchen. Returning to adjust and put right any issues. If you want a job done right… and you are looking for that wow factor in terms of quality, Downend Kitchens are a must. Top marks.
