Customer experiences
Fully equipped gym, some of the cardio is a little old but certainly gets the job done. The weights area is great and there are heaps of machines to use, you can have a great workout and nice view of the city. Accept casual visitors, water, free towel use which is very useful. Good value for a day pass at only $16.50, staff were friendly also. We didn't use the change rooms. Was a little hard to find, we entered from building 333 and the gym is on level 3 near the cinema.
A fully equipped gym on the edge of the French Quarter, right across the street from Caesars. The staffff is friendly and helpful, and they offer day passes at reasonable rates, which is awesome for people who travel and hate hotel workout rooms (I can't call hotel fitness setups "gyms") Worth a visit. $39 got me a 3-day guest pass, they have showers, lockers, and the men's locker room had a dry sauna as well. Highly recommend.
The perfect option for visitors wanting to keep up their workout while staying in New Orleans. Super convenient location minutes from the French Quarter. $16 for a day pass, or multiple day passes at a slight discount. Packed with old but immaculately maintained Nautilus equipment, tons of free weights, benches, cardio equipment, Smith machine + studio space to stretch. Super clean. Great views over Canal Street. Free coffee, towel service and dry sauna included in the price. Tina & Bill at reception were both helpful and super friendly. Many thanks! 🙏
I have a lot of gripes with this gym and the ownership. I was looking for a personal trainer and was referred to people with no prior experience that work at the gym. A certification is nice, but if you have zero experience I don't understand how I could expect to get results with people who don't know what theyre doing and pay a premium for it. Frankly it's a money grab ($60/hr for trainers with no experience), not a gym that has legitimiate offerings. Also 70% of their equipment is from the 80s. Not a high quality, modern gym. Sorry, foam blocks and fitness bands don't count as modern. Don't waste the money on a membership here unless running and free weights is all youre looking to utilize.
Downtown Fitness Center is a gym.
