I must admit the price was a bit surprising but this has nothing to do with Andrew or his work. He also took the time to look at another potential issue.

The plumber who arrived was polite and courteous. I had debated doing the job on my own, but due to time pressures, decided to call a plumber for the first time ever. The job was done well enough, but the cost was ridiculous. I regret not doing it myself. He was here for 40 minutes. Parts would have cost less than $40 retail. The initial quote was $600 plus hst. They gave me a 'deal' of $479 plus hst. At that point, I no longer had time to diy the job, but seriously, it might have taken me 2 hours at the most. If you are remotely competent, just diy. They will do a fine job if money is not an issue for you. For the rest of us, save money and do the job yourself.
