Michael BatchelorInitially, I was happy with the service; the dealership seemed professional, and the cars appeared well-maintained. However, problems quickly emerged after purchase. I was charged an extra $1,000 for paying in cash and $800 for a safety inspection, which was inadequate. The vehicle had serious issues from the start, including warped rotors, broken coil springs, a bent tie rod, and more, all missed during their “safety” check. When I returned the car for re-inspection and front brake replacement, the same issues remained unaddressed. Ultimately, I had to fix the car at my own expense, and I filed a formal complaint with OMVIC. For a vehicle costing over $20,000, you would expect it to be properly inspected and safe. It shouldn’t matter how much was paid; you’d expect good working brakes and no hidden defects. I have photos to prove these issues. I’m sure Auto House will reply, claiming they would have fixed the vehicle if given another opportunity. But the reality is that I did return it, and they still failed to address these problems. In the end, I chose not to deal with them again. I strongly recommend getting an independent inspection before buying and avoiding this dealership.
