This was a superb pub for drinking, with a grand feel that incorporates feeling of an older pub in its design! The pillars and large lights help do this, writing engraved on the walls is entertaining in itself. The counter is neatly presented with a variety of ciders of course for Somerset and I enjoyed a Mango Cider, sitting comfortable at a round table!

It was my sons 18th and Nando's had shut early, which meant we crossed the road over to this gem of a place. So glad we did! The food was outstanding, we had the katsu burger, Duke burger and chocolate cheesecake. The burgers was out of this world, absolutely delicious. The staff were professional, polite and helpful. The atmosphere and interior was delightful, cozy and welcoming. 100% recommend

I should really give this 5 star as it is an excellent place to visit and staff alone deserve 5, but I need to visit a few more times to be sure. Very clean. Peaceful atmosphere (day) not yet had evening experience. Usual drinks prices. Meals good. Service excellent, very polite and friendly staff. Outside is cafe style very clean and tidy.

This gets 5 stars for atmosphere and drinks selection alone. Food is consistent and tasty, not outstanding. The staff are super friendly and always keen to help. Their playlists are great, too. UPDATE: NEW menu is great and photos of some starters we had should show you some of the quality. Thw one thing I didn't get an image of was our favourite...the short rib croquettes. Bloody lovely. Thw new pork belly bites and crab cakes were also great. 👌
