Durell Dentistry

I'm a very long term patient at this office & have always been very happy with my dental care, from the first dentist I met there (Dr. Schneider) to the next (Dr. Daniels) to the current (Dr. Raskin). Everyone there has always treated me with respect, friendliness & kindness. I think Dr. Raskin has been very friendly, kind & gentle. Such a sweetheart. He wants the "job" to be done right & I very much appreciate that. Procedures are always explained well & all questions answered. Please continue reading (this is a real review by a real patient - I bet some readers of reviews won't take the time to read my whole review). I looked at some of the negative reviews & wonder what in the world happened! Yes, I often get repetitive xrays but in my opinion that's because Dr. Raskin & the techs want to make sure it's exactly right ~ so treatment can be planned appropriately & insurance charged correctly. I suppose my medical background (RN & Medical Records Coder) makes everything much easier to understand. But I'm a firm believer that people should accept some amount of responsibility for their care ~ to learn about their teeth, proper dental care & to always ask questions when needed. Of course, different personalities might clash but that's human nature & people have different ways of looking at things. If that happens find another dentist you feel more comfortable with. I can see why some patients might think the care is too expensive. It kind of is ~ but the excellent care makes it worth it to me. I don't mean to sound "preach-y" & I hope this extra long review is helpful.

Staff is friendly and engaging. At all times I felt listened to and cared for. This was only my first visit so the work only entailed determining what needed to be done, but based on the professionalism of the practice I expect it will go very well.

New patient. Pre appointment was efficient as they enabled me to complete all of the paperwork prior to the appointment via email. Staff was extremely friendly and it was the most thorough dental exam I have ever had. Very impressed with this office!
