Dutchie's General Store

I live in Wabauskang First Nation near Dutchies and we go to this store for everything. They carry fresh produce, meats, vegetables etc. They have all your small grocery needs covered. They also carry fishing equipment of all kinds. Lures, jigs, spinners etc. The store is wonderfully decorated with wildlife from the area and worth a visit just to get a look at that. They also sell merchandise and souvenirs of all sorts including clothes, mugs, postcards, keychains and live bait. What ever your fishing or camping needs are they will take care of you. Ashley the owner is helpful and always around, it’s a family run business and his mother also works there part time. She is cheerful and friendly. The store also caters to LCBO needs including beer, hard liquor and coolers. You can reach the store by boat at one of the many landing spots near the store. It’s right on Red Lake highway. Next to the store almost is Perrault Falls which I highly recommend you check out as well. It’s so peaceful there and there are trails to walk. It’s worth parking and taking a walk around.

Great place to stop on the way to the Red Lake area of Ontario. Staff was friendly.
