I recently interviewed at what I believed to be a prominent company based on its name and the job portal description, only to discover it was a subsidiary of Aakriti Constructions. This revelation was disappointing enough, but the interview process itself was even more frustrating. Firstly, the HR team failed to inform me that the interview would be a group setting rather than an individual one. This lack of transparency led to an unnecessarily long wait. When I finally went in for the second round interview, the experience was quite disheartening. It was a short, impersonal interview with just two questions, giving me barely any time to elaborate on my qualifications or discuss the role further. Their approach felt dismissive and disrespectful, especially considering the time and effort I invested to attend the interview. Despite my attempts to engage and gain more insight into the position and the company, the responses were focused more on grandiose claims about the company rather than providing meaningful information. It became clear that the role was primarily about closing leads, which was not at all aligned with my expectations or worth the time I spent. Overall, the experience left a negative impression.
