Customer experiences
I am currently living at 1098 paisley rd; one of their “developments” and they should be ashamed of themselves. Brand new apartments building less than a year old and every single building (three on site) have broken HVAC units. No heating or cooling. They promised pool and park and have since taken that away but still promote it on their website with pictures (FALSE ADVERTISING). They have no parking; unless you consider a dirt patch with debris that you damages your car one. They have no property management office and gone through three “property managers” in the past year. Only accessible via email if they decide to respond. An absolute joke. Do not live here and do not work with this development company they will just scam you.
There have been some HVAC issues but they have been on top of it and everything in Building A is resolved. Changing this back to 5 stars because the service has been great. They acknowledged the mistake and took steps to fix it.
The new employee has been helpful. I forget her name, with the brown hair. I had to go away for the weekend and an Amazon package arrived to my door. She went and got it and put it away. She goes above and beyond.
Update: It’s February 2025, with temperatures dropping below -20°C, and we’ve been without heat for over a week. The building manager’s done nothing, and we’re left freezing in our own homes. Then there’s the parking mess. They promised a three-floor parking structure—hasn’t even started. Instead, we’re stuck parking on a gravel lot that’s supposed to become a playground someday. It’s a joke. Word around here is the city told the builder not to allow occupancy for the third building until parking was sorted, but apparently, that rule got ignored. Why? Rumors say the developer’s cozy with the mayor, donating to campaigns and getting a free pass to do whatever they want. If that’s true, it’s outrageous! People are paying good money to live here, and we deserve better than broken promises and no heat in the dead of winter. —————————————————————————- If it were possible, I would give this company zero stars instead of one. This is by far the worst management and building I’ve ever lived in, and I strongly recommend reconsidering any property developed by this company. I rented a unit in one of their newly completed buildings three months ago, and the experience has been nothing but frustrating. • AC Issues: During the hottest days of summer, the AC stopped working. Despite repeatedly asking the building manager to fix it, they only addressed the issue by the end of summer. • Plumbing Problems: The plumbing in my unit has been leaking since I moved in, and even after multiple complaints, the issue remains unresolved. • Garbage and Trash Chute: The garbage system is a disaster. The trash chute doesn’t work on weekends and fails to function on some weekdays as well. The vent from the garbage room sends unpleasant odors through the building entrance, and even up to my balcony. • Parking: The parking situation is unacceptable. The construction for the building’s parking hasn’t even started, and residents are forced to park in a nearby plaza, which is extremely inconvenient. This is without a doubt the worst building management I’ve experienced, and I highly discourage anyone from renting or buying from this development company.
E Squared Developments is a construction company.
