I have had the pleasure of working with Mark and his team on two occasions. It's one thing to hire a firm to work on a rental or a flip, but when it is your own home, you only want the very best. The Abacus team took the time to meet with my wife and me. We discussed our vision and ultimate goals for the proposed remodel. I selected Abacus for a two-story addition to my home after researching, and meeting with, numerous other contractors. What impressed me upfront was not just the obvious knowledge Mark Little and his workers have about construction methodology (I am a mechanical engineer), but also Mark's ready understanding of local permitting procedures, which turned out to be almost as important as his construction acumen. Because the one can't be accomplished without the satisfaction of the other, my permitting and construction processes went as smooth as silk. I never write this sort of recommendation -- this is my first. But I was moved to do so by how satisfying this entire process was, from start to finish. I highly recommend Abacus.
