Got three different quotes from 3 different companies to do a fairly big size acreage and decided to go with Economy Paving. They came, they prepped and then came and did exactly what they said and then some. This crew was amazing. They worked so well together and were so polite and kind. Great good of guys and wish we had gotten to know all their names. Great work Keith, Ali & Team. The slales team Gary was great to deal with as well. We recommend these guys any day!!

We didn’t initially have plans to pave our driveway this year but our neighbor was speaking with Adam and we decided to also pull the trigger. They showed up literally the next day and did the whole job. So glad we did, it looks amazing and the price was unbeatable! After seeing ours our other neighbor is now booked to get hers done as well, and the rest of the street is also on board. Economy Paving exceeded our expectations. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Six stars! Economy Paving not only did an exceptional job repaving our turnaround, but they were also a pleasure to work with and a joy to watch. Plus, we saved thousands of dollars while benefitting from a superior end result. Our turnaround wasn’t in terrible shape, but after 30 years of Calgary winters and the bordering spruce trees having matured, it was time to do something more than simply repeat the patching and resealing we’d done previously. So we had a couple companies come in to have a look and offer recommendations. One company wanted to remove all the existing asphalt and repave with 3” of asphalt. They anticipated 3 days of disturbance. Economy Paving’s approach was more “granular.” Because the existing asphalt was sound overall, their recommendation was to remove the compromised sections, fill those sections with new asphalt, seal the major cracks, and top coat everything with 2” of fresh asphalt. The net result would be an asphalt depth of around 5” and a savings of thousands of dollars. Plus, they only needed a single day to complete the work. It was something of a no-brainer. We went with Economy. Because we have two households bordering our turnaround – entailing 5 cars to coordinate – finding a day to accommodate the disruption of the repaving was in itself something of a calendaring feat. Economy was great in working with us to find a day that worked with our schedules and with the vicissitudes of weather. As the day for repaving neared I was reassured by the measured approach Economy took to preparing for the work. Three days out the estimator came onsite with the job foreman to go over everything he and I had discussed. The next day the locator came out and identified all the utilities – including the low-voltage lines to the outdoor lighting. And the night before the work commenced a tractor-trailer load of their equipment appeared outside our driveway poised for action. As promised, they began work promptly at 7:00am. We’d set up a bench in the garage to watch the work progress. We were captivated as the day unfolded. The choreography of men and machines was masterful. And perhaps even more impressive was the good cheer amongst the crew. These were guys doing gnarly work – moving, literally, over a hundred tons of material at temperatures that will blister your skin in an instant – and I didn’t hear a complaint or harsh word the entire day. Just the opposite. At one point I joked with them that they were having too much fun! In anticipation of the repaving we’d gone ahead and replaced all the borders of the turnaround. We had wondered how well Economy would deal with all the curves and weird angles and varying elevations we’d left for them. The artistry and attention to detail with which they matched the new asphalt to the new border left nothing to be desired. We admire the beauty of the end result daily. Thank you Economy Paving!
