I was so lucky when I found this general contractor, Alberto Aguirre, to build a 970 sq ft addition and 300 sq foot covered deck/patio to the back of my house. His family-owned construction company was more than I could have hoped for--the quality of their work always went far beyond expectations, as Alberto and his contractors were highly skilled in every endeavor from beginning to end. The entire crew worked for about a month in the rain when it was rainy season instead of postponing the work, which enabled completion of the project by at least a month. I've worked with many contractors in the past, and it's hard to find dependable contractors who always show up and want to work a full day--this crew always arrived first thing in the morning, and usually called it a day around 5:00 to 6:00 pm, never stopping except for lunch on occasion, I never hesitated if I had to pick up supplies or run errands when they were in my home, as I felt comfortable that I could trust his whole crew to be in my home when I was gone. This addition was as stress-free as it could get, as Alberto always built the addition in the least intrusive way possible so we could still utilize our existing space with almost total privacy, until the very end when he had to take out the wall on the back of the existing house. Best of all, Mr. Aguirre charges a fair and affordable price that my husband and I could afford. My addition turned out beautiful and better than I could have imagined--and it doesn't look like an addition from the inside or out--it looks as if it was always there. I can't say enough about this company and I would highly recommend Mr. Aguirre and his crew for any type of remodel or addition--and he also builds turn-key homes from the ground up and does small jobs. I still need a couple of rooms remodeled on the original (older) section of my home, and I will definitely hire TX Construction Co. when I'm ready to start..
