First and foremost, Suzanne, Joey, Joel and the crew are extremely detailed, highly consultative and brought lots of energy and excitement to our project. We needed a garden design that would integrate in with our newly constructed professional putting green. From the plantings to the lighting, we are thrilled with the outcome. And when everything grows in over the next year or so, we will have a lush looking English style garden. They know their plants, trees and shrubs! We learned more about sun positioning, designing for esthetics and growth, as well as how to align our style to the planting design, than we ever thought we would. And with the quarterly maintenance contract, we don’t have to worry about our lack of gardening skills. Lastly, having them at our home day-to-day was a pleasure. They are so easy, yet they are candid enough to keep us from doing things that would not achieve the look we wanted. The good news, we will be working with them on our next project in the fall designing the front yard to match the beauty of the backyard!

I was looking to update my front and back yard areas and add color. I also wanted mindful plants that attracted birds, bees, and butterflies. I feel that Ambiance Garden Design delivered on all accounts. Once we initiated in our contract phase - I was made aware of all costs up front. Additionally - there were no surprises once the project was underway (no “up” charges for more mulch being needed, etc.) They are very open with their design process, prices, and broke down the project into phases if I wanted to keep within my number. I strayed a little bit out of what I had hoped to spend but I did add drainage and an additional water fountain. They also took care of some drainage issues I was having and created a run off area that is now successfully keeping water away from my home. I had originally thought of hiring a gutter company to do this but it was as easy as re-routing my downspout and adding rocks that look even better than a pop-up drain. They completed the work over the course of a week or so. They were clean and kept their tools organized each day so my kids were still able to use the yard/basketball hoop and I could access my driveway. I feel that my yard is completely maintainable on my own. I would gladly hire them to spruce up the annual plantings when needed but overall, they left me with plants that I can maintain and will grow beautifully over time. Highly recommend!
