I visited Emirates Hospital Day Surgery at Motor City for a checkup about a cyst on my face. I initially booked with Dr. Seba and was referred to Dr. Basel about my situation. Unfortunately, my experience with the doctors was very disappointing. My concern was dismissed and even laughed at, with comments that it was “something small” and that I “shouldn’t be bothered by it,” despite it being on my face. I was repeatedly told that the procedure would leave a scar and that I should just go to plastic surgery, which felt quite insensitive given my visible concern. On a positive note, the Filipina nurse was very kind and professional, and the receptionist was also pleasant and accommodating. However, I left the hospital feeling that if your concern isn’t considered “serious enough,” it may not be treated with the empathy or understanding you expect from a healthcare provider.

Dr. Elie Eid is the Best doctor ever! He is very patient and always gives you enough time to explain and discuss your concerns. You never feel rushed with him. Unlike many others, he is not commercial at all,his main focus is on the well-being of his patients. He genuinely cares, listens carefully, and gives honest advice.
